Microsoft Teams Free

Microsoft Teams has now released a free version.  COVID-19 brings lots of challenges, but a key theme is social isolation and the ability to collaborate with our colleagues effectively as a result of working from home rules.  That ability to quickly ask a question or brainstorm new ideas in the office has disappeared… or has it?!

Will working from home become the norm?

That’s somewhere in the depths of the crystal ball during this uncertain time.  I’d expect that businesses will get lots of flexible working applications and working from home is a flexible working option that must be considered under that statutory right.  Where we all want to get back into the office it’s also quite nice not having the commute and this can mean more employee productivity during COVID.  But how do can we maintain the business culture and meet social need and collaboration needs and keep track of productivity both during and beyond COVID?

Free on-line training

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be bringing useful information on how to get the best out of Teams. There is so much to tell so we can’t do it all here or you’d have brain overload.  You need to learn and then put it into practice in a piecemeal way.
